Ann Raback, RSW


Ann (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.  She is completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Dalhousie University and is completing her final placement with DBT Hamilton.

Ann completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University, obtaining a Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts (English). Ann has work experience and training that has focused on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. 

Ann has a variety of clinical social work experience.  She has completed a placement at Pediatric Oncology at Hamilton Health Sciences and volunteered for the Sexual Assault Centre of Hamilton and Area (SACHA).  In addition, Ann has individual and group counselling experience in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, suicidality, emotion dysregulation, mood concerns, crises and various life stressors. Ann has worked at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton in psychiatric emergency services, inpatient and outpatient mental health units in addition to community mental health and crisis services.
