Resources

The internet is filled with misinformation about BPD, emotion dysregulation, and DBT. Here are resources that we recommend if you are looking to learn more.

Websites:

NEA-BPD
This is the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA-BPD). This website has a large collection of talks, videos, and resources available for individuals with BPD and their families. NEA-BPD is also involved in advocacy and they host an annual conference and on-going educational events.

The Linehan Institute
This is Marsha Linehan’s non-profit corporation dedicated to BPD and DBT. Again, the site contains information about BPD and DBT. Also, the site shares testimonials of how DBT has changed lives.

DBT-Linehan Board of Certification
This is the official site for information about how individuals become certified DBT therapists. It outlines the process and the on-going requirements.

Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD
This is the official site for information about CPT and how it works to treat PTSD.
