Ann Raback, MSW, RSW
Ann is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
Ann received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Social Work from McMaster University, and her Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University. She completed placements at Pediatric Oncology at Hamilton Health Sciences, community mental health agencies and DBT Hamilton. In addition, she has volunteered with the Sexual Assault Centre of Hamilton and Area (SACHA). Ann has clinical experience in individual and group counselling for individuals who have experienced trauma, suicidality, emotion dysregulation, mood concerns, crises and various life stressors. She has training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT).
Ann has work experience in community and crisis mental health agencies and has spent several years at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton with experience in psychiatric emergency services, inpatient and outpatient mental health units.
